Founded in 1917, The Institute for Career Development provides job skills, training and support to people with barriers to employment, including people with disabilities, veterans and young people in transition. The existing ICD logo mark had been in use since the early 1980's and had earned a high degree of equity and familiarity among social services agencies in NYC. The new identity retains the essential concept and form of the original mark, and features new custom ICD letters, new typography, and a new color palette.
